Hamza Halloubi

Hamza Halloubi currently lives and works in Brussels, Tangier and Amsterdam. Halloubi holds a master's degree in visual arts from ENSAV la Cambre, Brussels. From 2012 to 2014, he participated in the residency programme of HISK, Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Ghent. From 2015 to 2017, he was resident at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam.
Hamza Halloubi is a multidisciplinary artist who focuses on video and painting. He has had solo exhibitions at ARGOS, Brussels (2021); De Pont Museum, Tilburg (2020 and 2015); L'appartement 22, Rabat, (2019); Museo Hermann Nitsch, Naples (2017); c-o-m-p-o-s-i-t-e, Brussels (2017 and 2014); A Tale of A Tub, Rotterdam (2016); KIOSK, Ghent (2014); Palais des Beaux Arts, Brussels (2013). His work has been included in group exhibitions at a.o. S.M.A.K., Ghent (2019); Kunsthal Extra City, Antwerp (2018); Mystetskyi Arsenal, Kyiv, (2018); Witte de With, Rotterdam, (2016); EYE Filmmuseum, Amsterdam (2016); The 5th Thessaloniki Biennial, Thessaloniki, (2015) ; The 5th Marrakech Biennial, Marrakech, (2014); The 6th Momentum Biennial, Moss, (2011) Hamza Halloubi's works are present in international private and public collections.
