Bouchra Chérif

Bouchra is an actress, dancer and performer. She studied dance in Rabat and Cairo and worked with renowned choreographers. As an actress, she has appeared in films ('Ali Baba' by Pierre Aknine, 'Towards the possible' by Shezad Daoud) and sitcoms ('BENT NASS' by Hicham Jebarri). She found her first theatre experience with the company DAHAWASSA in performances by Ahmed Hammoud and Jose Sanchez Sinesera. She joins director Jaouad Essounani's DABATEATR where she dances and acts in creations by Salima Moumni, Ghassane EL HAKEM, Imane Zerouali and Hamza Boulaiz, among others.
Bouchra is also active as a teacher and actress in social-artistic projects such as AJI TSAWAT, a project aimed at sensitising and activating young people, and participates in workshops and residencies with pedagogical objectives.

During her residency, Bouchra will work on her new creation 'Corps Confiné' and join the work of the Moussem team, aimed at realising future artistic projects of her own.
