Chrystèle Kodr is writer, director and actress and studied theatre in Beirut and Brussels. Waël Ali is also a theatre-maker and writer and studied in Damascus and Lyon. Their meeting in 2013 and their subsequent correspondence regarding an old cassette recording from 1976 of the story of Kodr’s uncle has resulted in their collaborating on ‘Titre Provisoire’. During their residency they will be working on a monologue as well as an installation that will form a trilogy with the performance. Both are also performing during Moussem Cities Damascus.
