Ten years of Moussem Cities

10 years ago, the first edition of Moussem Cities invited Tunisian artists, thinkers and cultural operators to tell the story of Tunis through their work. A festival series was born: going from Tunis to Beirut, Casablanca, Algiers, Damascus, Dakar, Teheran, to Istanbul in 2025, Moussem Cities turns to a different metropolis in the SWANA region and broader African continent each edition, in an endeavour to channel their artistic vitality to Brussels. Together with local artists, diasporic creatives, and various partner organisations in Brussel, the festival explores urbanity across geographies: a platform of recognition, exchange, and collision.
