Since 2019, Moussem has had its own workspace and residence, which will now be thoroughly renovated and expanded starting in September 2025. Architecture office Studio Moto signed on for the design and Bauclub is responsible for the execution. During the renovations, our artistic activities in all their facets will be divided between two different locations. Nomadically, we will continue our intercultural and connecting role — literally between the center and the periphery of the Brussels art scene.
The local and international residency program will move a few hundred meters further to the Rue du Chimiste, where it will be complemented by the development of activities tailored to the neighborhood. We will remain in Anderlecht and build collaborations with local partners, schools, youth organizations, and residents: expect open studios and workshops, exhibitions, and school projects in this new quest of the Moussem Communities program.

Our offices are temporarily moving to Espace Magh in the city center. From there, we will coordinate our nomadic activities with productions, presentations, and development-oriented support in dialogue with various cultural and production houses.
