Amel Malfait Lakhtara, Salah Bouade and Badi Rezzak: three artists, two open studio’s, one mobile sculpture presentation, preceded by an iftar. Join us on the 26th of February at the Moussem Studios in Espace Chimiste for breaking the fast at 18:20 and a triple artistic programme at 19:00!
Amel Malfait Lakthara invites us for an embryonic work-in-progress sharing of her new performance TRIQ SALAMA, a laboratory of departure where visual matter shapes meaning and the intimate choreography of letting go slowly takes form.
Salah Bouade’s open studio exhibition questions the definition of an archive as an automatic collective memory, uniting ‘abandoned’ photographic moments found on the Marché du jeu de Balle, collaging work, and family pictures collected through the Moussem Communities gatherings in Cureghem, captioned and narrated by the women themselves.
Badi Rezzak wil present Barwita, a wheelbarrow turned political sculpture, an unstable pedestal loaded with object-signs and assembled materials between reclamation, transformation and reuse.
⚠️ Inscription is free but mandatory. Let us know whether you are joining us for Iftar, or for the artistic programme only. Find the form by clicking here or through the link below.
