Bashar Murkus

The Museum

A man commits an attack in a museum of contemporary art: 49 children and a teacher perish. His plan to be shot by the police fails and he is sentenced to death. A week before the execution, the man convinces the police inspector who investigated his case to accompany him at his last meal. The two men meet in the room where the lethal injection will be administered. They venture into risky and manipulative games, such as can only take place on a very last evening. Games about the meaning of death, which they both long for.
