CAIROGRAPHY

HaRaKa icw Sarma - Online publication

Cairography is a series of publications of theoretical texts, interviews and artistic work on performance practices in the Arabic language area, collected for the purpose of exchange and dialogue with artists from other regions. This 'emergency' edition comes after a year of losses, between a deadly pandemic and a series of political catastrophes. The bilingual collection of texts in English and Arabic was composed by Adham Hafez, Ismail Fayed and Myriam Van Imschoot.
Moussem supports this publication in the framework of a performance programme in which researcher and choreographer Adham Hafez and his company HaRaKa are guests. This programme in cooperation with Kaaitheater is planned for June 2021.
