On the day of her father's funeral, in a city that has been occupied for decades, a young woman discovers his architectural sketches. Overwhelmed by grief, she becomes obsessed with these drawings, and slowly disappears into the dream worlds and imaginary places her father created.
To what extent does our environment determine our creative thinking? How does the environment where our ancestors lived – near an open field, in a prison, near the ocean – affect our actions and our dreams? Broken Shapes is a hybrid theatrical experience in which live performance, installation and video interact.
