Youness Atbane lives and works between Casablanca and Berlin. His artistic practice is based on a critical relationship with the art world, its actors and its geopolitics. He took the master’s performing arts programme at the CCN of Montpelier and obtained a master’s in art, literature and museology at the University of Nice. Atbane combines performative and narrative practices: live performance, installations, photography and drawings are interconnected and independent of one another. His performance titled ‘The Architects’ had its world premiere during Moussem Cities Casablanca and can be seen this season in C-Mine and Arsenaal/Lazarus. The residence is in the framework of the new creation 'Untitled 14 km'.
